🔗 Share this article Two Individuals Accused with Jail Killing of Former Lostprophets Frontman Ian Watkins A pair of suspects stand accused of murder in the wake of the incarceration fatality of one-time Lostprophets vocalist and convicted child sex offender Ian Watkins. The two men, Rashid Gedel (25) and Samuel Dodsworth (43) stand indicted for homicide and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, per investigating officers. Watkins, forty-eight, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, with a further six years to be served on licence, after admitting a string of sex offences which included the effort to sexually assault an infant. Watkins was arrested after the execution of a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a significant quantity of computers, mobile phones and data storage units were taken as evidence.
